The Fox Brewery

In 2002, we had a spark of inspiration at the Fox and Hounds! In a disused outbuilding laying dormant, we went to work on a barrel brewing plant. This coincided with birth of our youngest son John (See LJB) Juggling the running of an up and coming Pub, starting up a brewery and looking after two young children could seem like "Mission Impossible" but with a little help from our friends, we found a niche - West Norfolk being a fairly barren real ale wasteland, there was quite a call for Fox Ales, from the Fox and Hounds to be a natural beer supplier. So in 2002 Heacham Gold was our first brew, met with some rave reviews from our locals!

Now we produce 9 different award winning beers ranging across all styles and strengths, as well as special brews and seasonal ales which you can buy at the pub as well as online at www.foxbrewery.co.uk

 

Brewery Tours

Come and join us in Heacham. With Mark as your guide and to provide you with a talk on brewing, see for yourself how we produce the beers from selecting the correct malt and hop variety to racking and bottling.

Then come and enjoy a lovely home cooked meal over at the Pub created by our chef.

The tour and meal accompanied by one of our fine ales costs just £13.50 perperson. (Minimum of 10 people)
